About the Loretto Hospital Foundation

The Loretto Hospital Foundation was formed in June of 2000. In only five months, the Foundation was excited to provide Loretto Hospital with 10 new wheelchairs. We have made some progress, but we have much more to accomplish for Loretto Hospital and the Austin community.

Why should you give to the Loretto Hospital Foundation?

• You'll make an investment in the hospital.
• You'll show a commitment to the long-term viability of the hospital.
• You'll assist in the purchase of the latest and most clinically appropriate medical equipment to aid our patients.

Where does the money go?

Your donation will be directed towards a wide variety of projects. Below are some examples of how your gift will be used:

• Patient Care Fund
For essential clinical equipment purchases (i.e., wheelchairs, endoscopy video, stress echocardiogram machines, CT scanner).
• Loretto Hospital Building Fund
• For maintenance of hospital environment, remodeling of patient care rooms, lobby upgrades, and exterior improvements.
